Rob was born and raised in the North West of England. He undertook his medical training at the University of St Andrews, Scotland and the University of Manchester, England.
He worked in several hospitals in the U.K., including a year working in Emergency Medicine dealing with major trauma and resuscitation, before coming to New Zealand.
Rob took over his practice at Dee Street Medical Centre in 1997. He enjoys the wide variety of General Practice, with a special interest in sports and occupational medicine.
Rob is married with 2 teenage children, and his spare time is spent following the family's sport and helping out on the farm.
